How to use your emotions to your advantage

Hear from Lui Zi Yee on how developing an awareness of her emotions has raised her energy levels and allowed her to be more efficient at work. 

I was feeling low energy before I attended the Honouring Your Agreements intensive, and was searching for answers about what I wanted to achieve in life. 

After the intensive, I began to have more awareness of my feelings and thoughts, the patterns that I have, and the patterns that I am running away from. Instead of suppressing my feelings, I begin to acknowledge and express them – I feel much lighter after.

I started challenging myself with the things that I've been running away from. By taking on the responsibility and task to challenge myself, I feel that my energy has shifted and I find myself growing as a person. I'm now able to channel my energy and motivation to get work done, and have faster awareness of when I'm limiting myself or holding back from moving forward.  

I also find that I'm more present when communicating with others, and I'm better able at expressing my thoughts and feelings. I can to relate to my thoughts in a more objective manner, rather than indulging in negative feelings and emotions. Seeing a larger, more objective, perspective has left me feeling happier and lighter overall, and I have more energy to do the things that I want to do.
