At the age of 20, Hun Ming Kwang was struck by the existential questions: “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?” This sparked a deep inner quest to search for answers. That journey eventually led him back to the dream within — to what deeply matters to him, and to the world.
Through this process, he discovered profound truths about the meaning of life: that we are the ultimate cause of our own suffering — and at the same time, the master of our realities.
Since then, he has committed his life to helping individuals design their own version of an extraordinary and fulfilling life.
Today, Hun Ming Kwang is known as a world-leading inner work specialist, deprogrammer, and a teacher of personal mastery, consciousness, spirituality, and social change. Over the years, he has touched the lives of more than 10,000 individuals — guiding them to re-examine their lives, break free from internal limitations and social constraints, and transform their realities by accessing a higher level of awareness. Through this, they are able to manifest their true purpose and destiny.
Hun helps people uncover their most fulfilling Self in their most fulfilling Work, supporting them as they separate from the identities and societal constructs they’ve unknowingly taken on. With over 12 years of experience working with world leaders and individuals from all walks of life, he brings both depth and breadth in understanding personal, family, and global systems — enabling him to solve complex problems with remarkable clarity and precision.
Hun Ming Kwang believes that we do not need ten years to resolve a persistent issue when it can be addressed in weeks, days, hours, minutes — or even moments. The key lies in expanding our access to consciousness, identifying the true root cause, and using the most precise and impeccable solutions to address it. As he often says, “We cannot solve a problem with the same level of consciousness that created it.” To truly solve a problem, we must transcend that level and rise into higher states of personal development and mastery.
Hun’s work is deeply informed by Process Oriented Psychology, developed by Dr. Arnold Mindell, as well as the Southeastern Mexico Mayan Lineage teachings, passed directly to him by Starr Fuentes. His approach involves the unification of the body, heart, mind, and spirit through a combination of bodywork psychotherapy, breathwork, conflict resolution, transpersonal and relational work, and comawork.
The transformative classes and retreats that Hun Ming Kwang has created are conducted across 13 countries — including the United States, Japan, Korea, and China — by himself and his apprentices.
Hun’s clientele includes high-net-worth individuals, C-suites, business owners, celebrities, and national and organisational leaders.
Beyond his professional practice, he actively champions causes related to human transformation, alternative medicine, personal freedom and fulfilment, mental wellness, and suicide prevention.
He has published a photobook in collaboration with Fujifilm, based on a six-month community participatory movement that set a World Record for the Largest Display of Mosaic Handmade Masks.
Hun Ming Kwang is also the author of four books on the topic of mental health, published by Penguin Random House and featured by Kirkus Reviews.
